This is an interesting movie. It was enjoyable to watch though nothing overly fantastic. Bette Midler adds some much needed energy and humour, Helen Hunt probably should not have played the lead, I could see it being more enjoyable with her purely behind the camera.
She looks quite weathered for lack of a better word. Colin Firth is quite pedestrian in this film although he does have one fiery scene towards the end. Would not go out of my way to recommend this to people but some may enjoy it.
