The story has promise, but the telling of it is lacking. I felt like the writers assumed that the audience had decent knowledge of the war. More context should have been given. I understood what was going on, but would have liked more details to support the story.
I think that my middle school kids were totally lost, except for me stopping to tell them what was going on.
