As I sat down with a tub of vanilla ice cream and a box of paper tissue, hoping Young Victoria would bring a tear to my otherwise dried contact lenses. I was soon taken on more than 90 minutes of incoherent ins and outs of royal political intrigue and none of the romance.
How dare you market yourself as one? Emily Blunt does carry Victoria quite well, but the story goes nowhere and perhaps the biography should have been left to A&E. I still ate the ice cream.
