Music by Vangelis adds a haunting & mystic feeling to the film. Linda Hunt was extraordinary in her convincing performance of an indigenous citizen, who shares (his)her political viewpoint and personal compassion for the people with Mel Gibson's character.
Mel is yummy in this film.
