Review of The World of Apu (1959) by Nadeem M — 12 Mar 2008
The final instalment in the Apu Trilogy, it follows Apu as a young adult. This is one of the best trilogies I've seen - you really feel an affinity with Apu, especially since you have seen his life depicted from a young child to a young man, over the course of the 3 films.
Great to see Sharmila Tagore as a young girl in this, who I first knew of from her commercial films she made as an adult.
