Review of The Woman (2011) by Mark O — 28 Oct 2011

I thought this movie was well done for what it is, but would not want to see it again... and I am a Human Centipede 2 (laughed my ass off), Audition, and Inside fan - this film made me angry, and after some themes became clear it was painfully difficult to watch.

Guess it depends on what gets to you, think Bloodsucking Freaks with more disturbing twists and turns - if I'm angry it obviously had impact and I can't very well fault it for that. Don't watch this if you are sensitive to violence specifically targeted against women unless you want a challenge - I was clenching fists with rage.

Angela Bettis is awesome as usual, and I would say that if you like her work, this movie is worth a shot just to watch her act.
