Review of The Woman (2011) by Matt L — 17 Jul 2014
Wow. This film not only sets a new standard in extreme American cinema, but for feminist screen theory as well. It caused quite a stir at it's Sundance premier and, having viewed even 3 years after the fact, I would have been shocked if it didn't.
This is a call to arms and I am locked and loaded. Bloody, savage, raw, beautiful, and with a message you won't soon forget. Brace yourself.
