Review of The Woman (2011) by Courtney K — 05 Feb 2014

This movie made me feel really icky. what a terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible awful man. and maybe the most disturbing part about this movie is watching that evil awfulness being passed down to the next generation -- right after watching his wife sit there and do absolutely nothing about it for how many years, that is.

anyways. this was a good film -- the story is terrible, but the movie accomplished what it set out for, so in that respect, i'd recommend it. of course the ending made me feel a little better; that family deserved every little thing it got.

so if you ever need to be reassured that you're not a heartless monster, this is a good film to make you fall apart on the inside.
