Review of The Wiz (1978) by Kerry W — 23 Aug 2009

I have to say that I was actually a bit disappointed with this movie. It seemed like it had all the right pieces, but it could have been executed a lot better. I understand that it is meant to be an urban version of Oz, but it was little more then a few on-location shots with some colored lights shining on them.

This is one of the few times when I think a remake would probably be better.
