[color=black]I saw this film ages ago and watched it again recently on DVD. It's as fresh and exhilarating as the first time I watched it. Directed by George Miller of 'Babe' and 'Happy Feet', this film has charm and zest, with performances as quirky and brilliant as I remembered.[/color].

[color=#000000]Jack Nicholson is clever in creating a humanistic devil who has all the qualities of a desirable man yet can be as torturous and intimidating as the Devil when rubbed the wrong way. Susan Sarandon, as the musically talented and very sexy Jane, gives a strong performance of a shy lady turned vicious vamp, while Michelle Pfeiffer is likeable as the sweet and sophisticated Sukie. Cher is wonderful as the strong-willed and no-nonsense Alex.[/color].
