Perfect. Just perfect. In every way. Robert Eggers made all the right choices, and I found myself saying the entire time, "Man, I wish I had made this film." Not only is it beautifully photographed, acted, written, and designed, the score takes it home.
Immediately afterward, I downloaded it from iTunes. Then I found they were releasing on vinyl, so I pre-ordered that too. Ah, I just can't get over how much I loved this film. Went to see it twice within 24 hours.
One of my top 4 or 5 of all time.
