(DVD) (First Viewing, 1st Softley film).
A perfect example of one of my favorite types of movies- literary adaptations that slice through the gorgeous costumes and sumptuous settings and finds a very real and passionate story lurking underneath. Helena Bonham Carter's lauded performance blew me away.
