Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Anya _ — 28 Feb 2008
Maybe it's my own Celtic heritage, but despite misgivings I watched this one with high hopes. Yet another incredibly slow and depressing Irish film, it was so well done that I felt compelled to see it through to the end.
A good film, but be forewarned- it won't leave you feeling warm and fuzzy.
