Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by John B — 02 Nov 2013
Another valuable addition to the 'Irish struggle' set of films that now span the length of the British occupation of Ireland. This tale occurs in the aftermath of the First World War and is not as 'black and white' as other films on Irish troubles.
The split between families only adds to an effective drama.
