Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Tommi A — 18 Apr 2008
A bit to partial for my liking: the British are the baddies and the Irish the goodies. I might not be aware of all the historical facts though. But maybe it was necessary for the sake of drama to polarize a bit.
Nevertheless I did enjoy watching the commonwealth get its ass kicked for two hourse straight, as well as listening to all the Gaelic and Irish accents. Beautiful!
