Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Matthew C — 18 Jun 2009
Sometimes a person can get so committed to an ideal that it results in tunnel vision. He sees only what he strives for, nothing more, and is willing to achieve it at all costs no matter who suffers. Sadly, the people who suffer are usually the ones that are loved most. Like a brother, a wife, or a childhood friend.
A+ film. This is nothing less than storytelling at its best.
