Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Mark C — 11 Aug 2010
A heartbreaking, and unflinching look at the Irish revolution. The acting is perfect especially Cillian Murphy who gives one of my new favorite all time performances. The cinematography captures the Irish country side beautifully.
Also on an slightly embarrassing note this film can be added to the shortlist of films that have made me cry.
