Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Dean C — 25 Jun 2013
A sobering film that portrays the grim realities of revolution; they're nothing like the romantic ideal we have in our heads--they're bloody, divisive, almost never successful, and, most pertinent to this film, never just black and white.
A lot in this film works well and it is about as engaging a docudrama as ever you'll find.
