Review of The Wind and the Lion (1975) by Craig T — 30 Aug 2007
The Achilles heal of this film is, alas, Sean Connery and the fact that apparently no one on the set hinted to him that perhaps Arabian princes do not, in fact, possess such thick Scottish accents. It's not as if this film had much going for it anyway.
Though it does have its moments of mediocrity, it does not rise much higher than that, concluding to be a rather silly movie with distorted history.
