Review of The Wind and the Lion (1975) by Frances H — 26 Dec 2012
One of my favorite movies--it has it all. Great stars and cast, witty script, great action, intrigue, romance and adventure, but also a scary glimpse of the future that will be WW1--machine guns mowing down men in a carnage without the honor of two men who look into each other's eyes in a test of skills and courage.
The follow up sequel to this film is All Quiet on the Western Front, and a scarier movie was never made.
