The Wild Bunch delivers an epic Western. While it meanders too much in the early going of the film, things really start picking up steam around the mid-way point. The aging outlaws are interesting and alarming--they're living on the edge and you can envision them getting killed at any moment.
That the viewer cares whether or not they are killed is a testament to the great script and acting performances.
