Glenn Close, in a tour de force portrayal, is the wife of the new Noble Prize for literature award/ The movie takes place at the time of the award celebration in Stockholm with some flashbacks which might be the most interesting parts of the movie.
The ending didn't come as a big surprise but I kept wondering "why?" On the whole I found the movie was full of unpleasant relationships and wondered what her "talk" to her children back in the USA would be.
