The rating is actually somewhat misleading, as this movie is actually quite entertaining, because it really is as shitty as the YouTube clips would have you believe. But in complete suckiness lies also greatness. Still, I must rate the film on the basis of its actual merits, which there are none.
I happen to think that Cage's overacting and shtick comes with the territory if you like the man. He just goes nuts from time to time, which is awesome. The actual flick is utter shit, but it's so bad you can't help but laugh aloud in certain scenes. There are many more of those, by the way, than the infamous clips have shown.
So grab a beer or get high, invite some friends, and pop in this bad boy. You will LOL.
