As one of the people within the younger generation, I rather enjoy this film. To those who are saying that it only holds comedic value, especially compared to the original 'horrifying' cinematic piece, clearly doesn't think seeing Christopher Lee in a dress is hilarious.
As someone who grew up with Lee as Count Dooku, seeing him as a Lord Summersisle was comedic. Good film but did not age well. The film tried to take you on a 'Inception-esque' journey which at the time was different.
The film has issues like any other, but good watch for some jump scares and some quality Nicolas Cage.
