Review of The Wicker Man (1973) by Peter N — 25 Jun 2010
Best British movie of the Seventies by a miles, with a fantastic soundtrack... and Brit Eckland does a weird nude dance thing. Has more weird characters than Little Britain and the League of Gentleman put together.
.. in fact most of them were stolen from here. The whole thing is completely potty but somehow it all works. My wife thought the end was too scary and that Edward Woodward should have been rescued to give it a happy ending, which shows how much she knows about horror films.
