Review of The Wicker Man (1973) by Adam L — 10 Sep 2009
The original "Wicker Man" is kitschy and hilarious, though I realize it's not meant to be. A sexy Scottish island is rampant with debauchery...and the occasional song. Highlights: Britt Ekland's come-hither dance, and Edward Woodward's constant disgust with everything he sees during his investigation.
The film is rife with blasphemy, lust, and awkward moments. Fabulous.
