Review of The White Stripes: Under Great White Northern Lights (2009) by Sean M — 24 May 2010
I am a fan of The White Stripes, and loved this documentary. I just wish they showed more of their travels to Ontario and the west rather than focus on the territories and Maritimes. Nice interviews with the band between songs, well, mostly Jack because Meg doesn't say much and when she does its usually in subtitles because she talks so quietly.
Jack playing Death Letter on piano was moving, especially when Meg starts to cry. Loved it.
