Review of The Wedding Singer (1998) by Michael H — 16 Jan 2013
Very unoccasionally Adam Sandler makes a comedy that is lacking or has no satisfacation. The Wedding Singer is one of his movies that lacks satisfacation. It stars Sandler as Robbie Hart who is a wedding singer. When his fiancee fails to come on wedding day, she tells him that she doesn't want to marry. Robbie becomes incredibly depressed and lacks the charm that he has sung at all weddings he has been at now. But when Julia, A woman who is a caterer for weddings and is getting married, he asks Robbie to help her with plans for the wedding. Love blooms between the two. This is not as funny as Sandler's other comedies but still has a few laughes in it that will give charm. The Wedding Singer Gives Sandler A More Original Comedy Then His Other Comedies which kind of is the problem with this movie. I like bad comedies more then good comedies mostly because I laugh harder. But The Wedding Singer is a good comedy for most of the time.
73/100 B-.
