Review of The Wedding Singer (1998) by Carolyn C — 12 Jun 2015
Completely charming and especially for those of us who were around and adults in the 80s. Very intuitive references to setting, scene and era. Believable and well-developed build of romance in the movie.
This Sandler flick shows him at his best: Back when he was funny, appropriate and empathetic to his audience. To go even further, back when he could relate to his audience. Great soundtrack, great ensemble.
...Drew is so charming in this, its almost painful. Great to watch, and greater to rewatch.
