The first time I saw this movie I thought it was so romantic, but this time, I could not believe what a jerk Robert Redford's character is and how Barbara's just takes it and begs for his love.
... I get it, I really do...I've been there... and maybe that is what Pollock was getting at... but please, thank goodness for the feminist movement already...
