Review of The Way We Were (1973) by Rebecca N — 26 Aug 2009
Barbra rocks. The woman is simply phenomenal. She overshadows Redford a good deal and I don't think they have good chemistry together but the story was interesting and I can see this film again anytime.
I was also in for a nice little shock. Sarah Jessica Parker is almost a perfect imitation of B.Streisand! Not only in mimics and gestures but also in the way she speaks, her tones etc. It was fun to see Carrie coming up from Katie at odd times. Recommended.
