Review of The Warriors (1979) by Gareth M — 05 May 2010
A very enjoyable "Chase" movie, about a gang of lads framed for a murder they didn't commit, whilst being hunted down by a army of gangs led by this Don black guy. Cue lots of running, fancy dress bad guys, lots of slick cool fight scenes, and a sassy evil girl villlian/hero.
Completely in fun cartoon mood, with a fittingly bad cheesy soundtrack and token radio dj; its just a quality little film, that you can't take too seriously, just that can't do nothing but enjoy.
