Warrior is good fun with a great realization(the beginning is great!). It's a movie right from the end of the seventeens and the beginning of the eighties and you feel that.You feel immersed in another decade .Further What's great with the movie is its style and fashion.The movie is very much glamorous and visually attractive.This is its major success and though the story is original and well written It can be probably said that what makes the movie exceptional is its style more than anything else.The great attempt of the warriors to be a poetic romantic and stylized gangs description doesn't reach the level of west side story or rebel without a cause though It is visually great.This is perhaps why the warrior remains a cult movie and cannot yet be represented as a reference of the genre.

Nevertheless "the warriors" is still recommended to moviegoers FOR THE REST it doesn't need to be on the top of the list,there's no need rushing to watch it.
