It's a great deal of fun. You can't take it seriously--it doesn't take itself all that seriously, come to think of it. The plot involves a gang called The Warriors that becomes the target of all the other NYC gangs when they are wrongly blamed for assassinating another gang's leader.
Energetic and fast-paced. In some ways, it's the humanized, comic counterpart to John Carpenter's 1976 film, Assault on Precinct 13.
