The Warriors is a fun and entertaining 1979 cult action movie that delivers the goods for those who enjoy action films. This movie is about a gang called The Warriors who are accused for the murder of the head of the city's foremost gang name Cyrus after one of the gangs called the Rogues framed them and with every gang looking for The Warriors.

The Warriors are attempting to go back to their home Coney Island and they must also prove their innocence before every gang kills them. To be honest I love this movie and it was so good and I never heard of the film but I do know that it was later on made into a video game by Rockstar Games which I played in my PSP and when I heard that the game was based on the movie I decided to check out the film and when I watched it I totally love it and had a fun time watching it.

I watched the Director's Cut Version which has shots of comic book sequences on every scene and it is longer than the normal version and I love it. I seriously didn't have any problems watching The Warriors at all.

Thanks to all of the bright ideas of writer and director Walter Hill. What I like about The Warriors is that the movie has a powerful cinematography and the lighting shots in the film is so nice and well executed and I enjoyed the look and feel of the film a lot and the movie's tones completely fit well for this movie along with its powerful cinematography.

What I also like about The Warriors is that the film also has a lot of cool and awesome gangs. Not only The Warriors are the coolest gangs in the film but I think my personal favorite gang in this film is probably The Baseball Furies and The Riffs plus The Lizzies are also nice and the leader of the Lizzies looks pretty and gorgeous at the same time and I like the gangs in this film a lot.

What I also like about this movie is that the film also has a lot of magnificent settings and the best setting in this film is Coney Island and I love the way the beach in Coney Island looks like and it gives the film a beautiful feel a lot.

While the last things I like about this film is that the movie is full of fun fight scenes and some amazing chase scenes like The Warriors vs The Baseball Furies is one of the best fights in the movie along with the subway Bathroom fight scene and the chase scene where the Turnbull AC's are chasing The Warriors is one of my personal favorite scenes in the whole movie.

Now the acting is great all of the casts did a magnificent job with they're work in the film and they not only did a good job with their roles in the film but they also did a fantastic job playing as one of the most likable characters in the film like Michael Beck as Swan, James Remar as Ajax while the others also did a good job with the way they portray the characters in the film like Remembrandt and other characters as well.

Director and Writer Walter Hill did a fantastic job with his work on this movie and his directing is so stylish and magnificent and he managed to create a nice cult classic action movie that delivers a lot of goods.

Overall The Warriors gets a 10/10 because this is a nice cult action movie that delivers a lot of goodies for action fans.
