Review of The Ward (2010) by Richard M — 31 Jul 2011
After 10 years without working as a director, John Carpenter left fans eager for new jobs. The shame that Ward is not quite a comeback that Carpenter could give your audience.
Mixing various elements of Asian horror films with Dario Argento. Still has its merits. It is well made, short, a relatively interesting story and Amber Heard is a haunted and Kristie.
Shutter Island is the Carpenter! Piece by old clichà (C)s that were not present in previous works director. I miss Halloween and The Thing.
