Review of The War of the Roses (1989) by Marcus W — 03 Aug 2010
Good acting aside, the problem with this film is that there's nobody to root for. Neither of the leads are particularly likeable, and the kids are left on the sidelines. Halfway through, when you can sense it's about to move into "Tom & Jerry meets Home Alone" territory, you don't care for the outcome.
