Review of The War of the Roses (1989) by Abel D — 21 Oct 2014
A brilliantly dark dramaedy, DeVito's 'Roses' is an amusing, often visceral, dive into the depths of martial madness and entitlement. The dynamite chemistry of Douglas and Turner, the masterfully suspenseful and moody direction, even David Newman darkly playful score, it all adds up so nicely.
