Review of The War of the Roses (1989) by Matt M — 22 Jan 2014
A tale of love turned into hate as man and woman fight viciously during their divorce to get each other to leave the house. There is no doubt that the concept is interestingly explored in a darkly comic way.
Nevertheless, the obnoxiousness of the characters makes it a times willingly daunting. On top of that, the build up to the final and by some extent memorable final eruption is a little too slow paced.
