Review of The Wages of Fear (1953) by Tim H — 07 Oct 2007
An intense final hour and a half saves a firly aimless first hour with this film. The action is built up nicely without getting over-the-top (however, I fear for a possible remake) and the main character is likeable and genuine.
Ending is a little predictable, but it's still a rare film that is both artistic and entertaining on a base level.
