Anyone that thinks a black and white film from the early '50's could never make you hang to the edge of your seat and hold your breath in fear and anticipation the way the popcorn action movies of today do has never seen this movie.
This is the only reason movies like Speed, Gone in 60 Seconds, Crank, and many others can even exist. Unfortunately, none of those have any meaning behind them. Fortunately, this one does.
