The Visit provides horror fans with a deliciously strange Hansel & Gretel-style storyline packed with a touching message on forgiveness, but writer-director M. Night Shyamalan doesn't have the conviction to make this journey anything more than just quirky and awkward -- and ultimately just plain boring.
