Review of The Virgin Suicides (2000) by Matt — 31 May 2009
Sofia Coppola's first film, and proof that switching from acting to directing was a wise choice (*coughGodfather3cough*). Although it isn't perfect, it's a very charming film that dares to be just a tad different.
Coppola playfully combines comedy and tragedy and does not shirk from the odd voice-over or split-screen.
