Review of The Virgin Suicides (2000) by Chris H — 13 May 2010
After seeing Lost in Translation from Sofia Coppola a few years ago, I told myself to see this as well, since it was her first film. The two films have common major themes- loneliness and isolation. The Virgin Suicides is beautifully filmed, sad, and thoughtful.
Definitely one of the films you can talk about for a long time over a bottle of wine.
