Review of The U.S. vs. John Lennon (2006) by Brandon G — 01 Nov 2008
Vague, pretentious, and unsubstantial which can easily describe the peace movement that Lennon attached himself to. Offers few deep critiques of the peace movement or of Lennon and tries to gloss over the fact that Nixon easily succeeded in silencing Lennon.
Most of those interviewed seemed to be full of shit and made G. Gordon Liddy look reasonable in his comments (yikes!). The only good thing was the visuals.
