Review of The U.S. vs. John Lennon (2006) by Kane A — 17 Sep 2010
Revisits the attempt by the Nixon Administration to deport John Lennon. Although I think it takes some liberties with the truth, any real patriot (not the faux patriots running around these days) concerned about the erosion of our civil liberties should take a look.
If you have an aversion to hippies and the radical left, you might hold your nose, but you'll be happy to know that G. Gordon Liddy is one of the interviewees. Check the DVD, which has some deleted scenes, including a powerful scene where Yoko reads a letter she sent to the parole board when Lennon's killer was up for review.
