Review of The U.S. vs. John Lennon (2006) by Linda M — 04 Jul 2011
An unusual Lennon documentary, that provides some insights and some rarely seen footage (in fact, very little of the well-trodden stock footage of John and Yoko is used); as a documentary, it's only semi-reliable, as quite a lot of it - especially the insinuation in the ending - is speculative.
But it does give some insight into Lennon's mind and personality, and into the reality of his life in the 70's. A very compelling watch for fans of the man and for conspiracy theorists alike.
