Review of The Unnamable (1988) by Reed B — 05 Oct 2007

This film isn't based on a story by Lovecraft, it's based on a character he created. Sort of. I'm not sure if the monster they eventually show in the film is supposed to be the Unnamable, but it certainly doesn't look like the thing described in the short story.

And the movie isn't anything like the story, anyway, except for the concept of there being a creature so beyond human comprehension that it can't be defined in human terms. This film is just a simple college co-ed gorefest.
