Review of The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) by Marcus P — 30 Apr 2008
Even though this film is not as good as the book by Milan Kundera (seldom they are) and did not depict the philosophy of "lightness and heaviness" very clearly (can one truly be light without having experienced heaviness?) - I was still fascinated and found some of the scenes truly beautiful and sensuous ( especially in the European uncut version).
