I was confused as to what the morality of the story was? That Debauchery in times of war is the normal thing to do. Also another terrible accent from Daniel day lewis. I will say a great performance by Juliete Binoche.

Feeble directing at times and the movie continually goes on and on with no end in sight. The ending was very disappointing, I thought it was a terrible technique to show what could have been a strong emotional ending.
